Entrepreneurs Who Repurpose Railroad Supplies Into An iPad Stand

I had the pleasure to meet Rob Humphreys from Rail Yard Studios. He and Robert Hendrick have teamed up to save a piece of America. They are taking centuries-old railroad supplies and turning them into furniture.

Their latest creation? …An iPad stand made of railroad ties. Don’t worry, it’s multi-generational. It works with versions 1, 2, and 3. It’s got a nice modern, industrial look.

To make these Ipad stands a mass market reality, they need to your help. Help Rail Yard Studios get their project funded at Kick Starter.

I thought it was such a cool idea, I thought I’d write a quick post about it.

Check out the special Rob and Robert put together for backers on KickStarter backers.
